Narrative
A large agricultural tire manufacturer in Illinois was experiencing a high turnover rate (over 60%) and were short of positions being filled by 40 spots.
QPS presented a strategic onsite program to have recruiting done onsite by a QPS Onsite Manager that would be responsible for handling daily operational needs, providing feedback to staff, understanding concerns and providing timely solutions, and assuming control of secondary supplier utilization and management.
With approval, QPS executed the onsite program, which started to shift the culture at this company which reduced the overall turnover rate by 36% in just three months.
QPS was able to fill all open positions and the company was even able to start additional lines, which increased the overall plant capacity.
The feedback received from the plant manager after three months was, “I don’t know what you are doing or how you are doing it to make this happen, but please keep doing it.”
