One of our most cherished traditions at QPS Employment Group is our annual delivery of pumpkin pies to customers and partners, a gesture that started all the way back in 1985.
That first year, QPS founder Scott Mayer made the company’s very first placements himself. As Thanksgiving approached, he wanted a way to thank the customers who gave him the opportunity to earn their business. On the day before the holiday, he stopped at a local grocery store and bought each of them a pumpkin pie.
Today, as we celebrate 40 years in business, that tradition continues stronger than ever. This year alone, QPS delivered nearly 6,000 pies across all our branches. The scale has grown, but the meaning has remained the same. Every pie represents appreciation for the partnerships that help people find work, support families, and strengthen local communities.
As we look back on four decades, our annual pie delivery continues to remind us why we do what we do. It is a tradition with a big heart, and it reflects the spirit of gratitude that has guided QPS from the very beginning.
