An invested learning and development team improves employee retention, helps make employees more productive, and increases overall effectiveness. The learning and development team at QPS identifies skills gaps among employees and teams and then develops and delivers training to bridge those gaps. This aligns employee goals and performance with that of the organization.

The Benefits of Learning & Development
According to Dan Burnett, Senior L&D Manager, “Today’s workforce is eager to learn and grow. To be an employer of choice, with an engaged employee population, we must fulfill that need. In addition, equipping our employees with the ability to do their jobs better positively affects the customer and candidate experience. Our learning and development programs are designed to create inspired, confident, and empowered employees.”
“Our L&D team operates under the idea that QPS is a special place and that, as an organization of employee-owners, we are only as strong as our people. We work hard to create a culture of learning, something that is genuinely supported by our core beliefs. It takes collaboration and innovation to build an environment where employees are empowered to take professional development into their own hands. When people have fun learning and see the results in action, it reinforces their desire to develop further. When someone enjoys what they learn, we often see that they also appreciate sharing, teaching, and encouraging others around them. This is how companies grow their people to their highest potential,” said Employee Experience Manager, Paul Basquez.
Employees with access to learning and development programs have the advantage over employees in other companies who are left to seek out training opportunities on their own. The investment in training that QPS makes shows our employees that they are valued, which further translates to a supportive workplace, empowered employees, and overall customer satisfaction.
